Cheslie Kryst, Miss USA 2019, Died Of A Suspected Suicide At The Age Of 30
Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst was the lady who jumped to her death from a Manhattan high- rise building on Sunday morning (Jan. 30), according to The New York Post, which cited law-enforcement officials.
Kryst leaped from the 60-story Orion building and was discovered dead in the street below at 7:15 a.m.

According to The New York Daily News, Kryst lived on the ninth story of the luxurious apartment building at 350 W. 42nd St., but leaped from a common space on the 29th floor, according to police sources.
Before jumping, she wrote on Instagram, “May this day bring you rest and tranquility.”
From September 2017 through May 2019, the beauty pageant winner worked as an associated civil litigation attorney at
Poyner-Spruill LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina, after graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law.
She was crowned Miss USA in 2019 after previously serving as Miss North Carolina.
Kryst also worked for ExtraTV as a reporter.

Kryst was also described as “one of the brightest, nicest, and most compassionate persons we have ever had the opportunity of knowing” by the Miss Universe organization in a statement shared to Twitter.
