“Women, Be Fearless,” Jael Proclaims After Winning The Top Hospitality Awards For 2021

Jael Agyei Akyeampong, a promising young Ghanaian hotel professional, has been recognized as a trailblazer in Africa’s rapidly growing
hospitality industry.

At the 5th edition of the prestigious Hospitality Awards Ghana, Jael Akyeampong was named the Most Admired Female Hospitality
Professional in Ghana for the year 2021.

Jael Agyei Akyeampong, the General Manager of RB Park Hill Hotel, has years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industries in the United Kingdom and Ghana, and has consistently advocated for female inclusion in top roles for hotels and other hospitality businesses.
The Park-Hill Hotel, which she currently manages, was also named Best Accommodating Hotel at the Hospitality Awards on the night.

This was revealed by Jael Akyeampong in an exclusive interview with tourism content curator Kelly Nii Lartey Mensah. Jael Agyei Akyeampong is also the Director of Administration at AAWTH, a non profit organization that was recently endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Art, and Culture as Ghana’s first-ever association for Women in Hospitality.

“This will serve as a constant reminder and source of joy that our efforts have not gone unnoticed. Working hard is one thing; being seen, heard, and celebrated is quite another. As a female General Manager in the hospitality industry, I advise newcomers to be fearless. Never underestimate yourself; love and be passionate about what you do “- she stated.

The Hospitality Awards Ghana is an annual scheme that celebrates outstanding heads of departments and teams who drive excellence and exceptional leadership in the hospitality industry.
