Chris Brown Arrested In The UK Over Alleged Bottle-Throwing Incident

Chris Brown is in trouble with the law again.

According to The Sun, Met Police detectives arrested the 36-year-old American musician just after 2 am at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester over a bottle-throwing incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023.

Chris Brown was busted hours after he flew into town on a private jet, landing at Manchester Airport.

Rebbel Ashes Teams Up With Legendary Pat Thomas For Soulful New Single “GYE NYAME”

Ghanaian-Belgian Afrobeat talent Rebbel Ashes is poised to make a powerful impact with his latest single “Gye Nyame”, featuring none other than the highlife legend, Pat Thomas. Slated for release on May 30th, this song is a bold expression of cultural identity and divine reverence, artfully blending Afrobeat energy with the soulful depth of traditional highlife.
Produced by celebrated Ghanaian sound engineer and musician Knii Lant3i, “Gye Nyame” (meaning “Except God” in Twi) draws inspiration from one of the most iconic Adinkra symbols, which represents the omnipotence and sovereignty of God in Akan culture. This collaboration doesn’t just deliver music — it delivers a message of hope, pride, and spiritual awareness.
The cover art offers a powerful visual, embedding the sacred Gye Nyame symbol over a monochrome portrait of the two artists. This symbolizes unity across generations and genres the new-school energy of Rebbel Ashes harmoniously meeting the timeless wisdom and voice of Pat Thomas.
As Rebbel Ashes continues to solidify his place on the global Afrobeat scene, this song marks a new milestone in his career one that celebrates heritage while pushing the boundaries of creative innovation. For Pat Thomas, who has remained a pillar of African music for decades, “Gye Nyame” reaffirms his relevance and unshakable influence.
