Davido’s Son, Ifeanyi Adeleke Died After Drowning
Sad news has emerged from the camp of Davido, the Nigerian afrobeat star,
and his fiancée Chioma Rowland, indicating that the couple has lost their son.
“The boy was in the water for too long, so they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,”
a family member said on condition of anonymity pending an official statement.
“It was too late by the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital.”
Davido’s girlfriend Chioma Rowland gave birth to Ifeanyi Adekeke on October 20, 2019.
According to another family member, Davido was in the United States when the incident occurred.
Chioma was thought to have gone to Ibadan and left the child with a female domestic helper.
The news comes two years after another artist, Dapo Oyebanjo, D’banj, lost
his son in the family swimming pool.
