King Paluta Deserves VGMA ‘New Artiste Of The Year’ Award – Abeiku Santana

Seasoned Ghanaian media personality, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, professionally known as Abeiku Santana, has boldly asserted that rapper, King Paluta deserves to be crowned ‘New Artiste of the Year’ in the 2024 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Abeiku’s endorsement stems from the undeniable talent and innovation that King Paluta has brought to the music industry. The ‘Sika Aba Fie’ hitmaker’s blend of lyrical prowess, authentic storytelling, and dynamic performances have set him apart as a force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian music circle.

He recently received massive commendation from multiple award-winning rapper, Okyeame Kwame, who touted him as one of the biggest music prodigies from Ashanti Region.

This has, however, compelled Abeiku Santana to opine that it would be totally disastrous for King Paluta not to be named New Artiste of the Year at the next Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). The Ace broadcaster made known that he is part of the VGMA board and will definitely vote for the musician when the time is due.

“If the New Artiste of the Year is not given to King Paluta, then I think that would be the end of the VGMA. I am part of the VGMA Board, and I will definitely vote for King Paluta, and I am sorry for the rest,” he said.

King Paluta, under the year of review, has garnered over five million streams from his two hit songs, “Yahitte” and “Sika Aba Fie.” His ability to seamlessly fuse traditional elements with contemporary beats showcases a musical maturity beyond his years.
