Musician Akwaboah Loses His Dad
Ghanaian music star Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah popularly known as Akwaboah Jrn has lost his dad, Akwaboah Snr, to the cold hands of death.
The musician shared the sad news of his dad’s passing on social media on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
According to reliable information available to www.nydjlive.com, Akwaboah. Snr passed away at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi in the early hours of Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Kwadwo Akwaboah Snr was a veteran highlife musician and record producer known for his song “Awerekyekyere” which he eventually remixed with his son in August 2020.

He was a talented pianist who taught many including his son.
