Nigerian Rapper, Ice Prince Zamani Arrested For Abducting Police Officer
Ice Prince Zamani, a famous Nigerian rap artist has been arrested by the police for allegedly abducting an officer.
According to a statement by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Command, the rapper was arrested around 3 am on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Narrating the incident, the PRO said;
“At 3 am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”

Hours later, he updated the public who had requested to see footage of the said incident before believing the narrative.
He said;
“For those asking for video evidence, yes we have it. And no, we won’t release it. A very close ally of his has seen it. It will be presented to the presiding magistrate as part of our evidence.”
