Paul Okrah; In Need Of Financial Assistance For A Kidney Transplant
Paul Okrah, a 32 years old Ghanaian who currently resides in Kumasi was diagnosed as hypertensive for the past one year and later
diagnosed with mild renal failure in June, 2021 (Stage 3 kidney disease). It has developed in such a short period of time to End
Stage Renal Disease (ESRD, Stage 5); the terminal stage of kidney impairment and is currently undergoing hemodialysis twice a week.
So far, he is grateful to family, friends, prayer warriors, and those who have contributed in some way to his support and fundraising.
Paul is in need of a kidney transplant and to be placed on the transplant list, a candidate must first go through a series of evaluations before receiving a kidney transplant from a living donor. Meanwhile, he must undergo hemodialysis twice a week for a total of four hours every session. Expect dialysis problems such as vomiting, loss of appetite, and shortness of breath, among others.
