Abigail Yaa Lolade (born July 20, 2000), commonly known as Abitemi, is a Ghanaian afro pop and afro beat singer and songwriter from James Town. She completed her elementary education in Nigeria before moving to Ghana to complete her secondary studies. Abitemi was first spotted by her Choirmaster, who encouraged her to continue music because he recognized the unique skill she demonstrated in her first week as a chorister, calmly wandering through several challenging notes. Despite the fact that her talent was bred in the church, her musical adventure began with a genre that was not immediately familiar with the church’s mode of operation.
