Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2023 Nominees: Full List Here
Nominees for the various categories in the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2023 have been announced.
The list for the ninth edition was unveiled during a ceremony hosted by Bisola Aiyeola and Adjetey Anang.

Emmy Awards 2024: See The Full List Of Winners
“Hacks” and “Shōgun” won big at the 2024 Emmy Awards as the best in television was honoured Sunday night.
FX’s “The Bear” came into the night with 23 nominations, the most ever for a comedy series, and took home awards for best lead actor, best-supporting actor and actress and best comedy series. HBO’s “Hacks” won for best comedy series.
Sunday night’s festivities were the second Emmy Awards ceremony to be held in the 2024 calendar year after the 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held in January of this year due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes that forced a delay in 2023.
The ceremony was hosted by a father-son duo and “Schitt’s Creek” stars Dan and Eugene Levy.

Gospel musician Nhyira Hemaa won the “Diaspora Gospel Song Of the Year at the third edition of the Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMAE).
The Ghana Music Awards happened last Saturday, September, 7 2024, at the prestigious Schepenbergweg 13 1105 AS in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Nhyira Hemaa won that award for her hard work and support from fans.

2024 Medimafo Western Music Awards Slated For September 21
Takoradi is set to come alive with an electrifying celebration of music as the prestigious Medimafo Western Music Awards (WMA) returns for its 2024 edition.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the GPHA Auditorium, this year’s event promises to be a night to remember, showcasing the rich musical talent from the Western Region of Ghana.
The WMA, organized by Westline Entertainment, continues to honor and uplift the creative industry within the region, celebrating musicians who have made significant contributions to the music scene.
This year’s event will feature an impressive lineup of performances from renowned Artistes like legendary Amandzeba, Rev. Charlie Sam, Origee, 2Toff Ogunskele, and Fiifi Lattex.
Others like Ewuraba Esi, Osofo Inkumsah, Ayisem, Nero X and Blaq Mic are also set to grace the stage, offering a diverse mix of music genres from highlife to hiplife and gospel to reggae.
The evening will kick off with a red-carpet event at 7:00 PM, where fans will have the opportunity to see their favorite Artistes up close. The main event is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM, promising a night full of thrilling performances and memorable moments.

“As Ghana is set to vote on 7th December and aware of the influence of our platform, the theme for this year’s WMA is ‘Diversity in Peace.’ This is to draw home the idea that, we may be diverse in political affiliation, it should be in peace,” Nana Kwesi Coomson, the head of Public Relations revealed.
Mr. Coomson continued; “We will make sure that there will be subtle and obvious messages on peace at the event. The Artistes will also be prompted to champion peace messages during their performances.”
“Aside from the 31 categories that will be awarded, we will also honour some legends with lifetime achievement awards” Mr. Coomson further added.

5th Edition Of Awesome Vox Crew’s Feast Of Worship Launched Slated For September 29
“Feast Of Worship”, The annual concert put together by Awesome Vox Crew (AVC), a Ghanaian gospel music group based in Bogoso, a town in the Western Region.
“Feast Of Worship” is a gospel musical concert designed to give credence to the importance of “praise and worship in the life of a Christian”.
Started in 2020, the Feast Of Worship concert has in the past years served a platform for many lovers of gospel music to enjoy an atmosphere of praise and worship.
The past events have had artistes such as SK Frimpong, Morris Makafui, Elvis Benstil, Godgift, among others on the platform.
Speaking at the launch, Nana Oduro Darko who happens to be the groups president mentioned that, patrons should expect testimonies and prepare their hearts for the event. “This year, it’s going to be special. It’s all about the testimonies and the motive of the people coming. You just don’t come to Feast Of Worship. You need to prepare yourself and during the preparations we have the hand of God visiting us.
“It has been great sometimes, but extremely challenging at some point too. In all we want to thank God for his mercy for the past 5 years and all the people he brought on our way to keep this programme vibrant,”.
“My prayer for the next 5 years is for the Lord to grant us all the strength we need to keep pushing this mandate he has given us,” he said.
“Feast Of Worship”, as it is called, has been our way of thanking and praising God with our patrons, and this year’s will not be any different.
