Drake Issues ‘Fake Drake’ A Cease And Desist Letter
Don’t play on Drake’s name!
The Canadian rapper has filed a lawsuit against an impersonator who goes by “Fake Drake,” whose real name is Izzy Drake, after rising to fame for over a year.
In a celebratory birthday post, “Fake Drake” shared the cease and desist he received from the OVO rapper while also giving him a birthday shot, before revealing his name change.
This comes at a time when “Fake Drake” in an interview admitted he receives not less than $5000 for performances.
“Happy birthday to the greatest artist in history and my biggest inspiration.. I got this cease and desist letter from OVO couple days ago and as a respectful b day gift to @champagnepapi I changed my name from IzzyyDrake to Izzyyfamous🎈🎉 More life my OVO brother @preme @bakanotnice @tvgucci,” the impersonator shared.
The impersonator will now go by Izzy Famous moving forward.
