Ghana Tourism Authority And Kirani Ayat Reach An Agreement Following A Copyright Infringement

The Ghana Tourism Authority and rapper Kirani Ayat have reached an agreement after the

former was accused of violating the musician’s intellectual property rights.

This was after they used footage from Kirani’s ‘Guda’ video as part of a tourism reel.

According to a statement posted on Kirani Ayat’s Twitter page, “the parties have reached an

amicable agreement in settlement.”

However, no specifics about the agreement were provided.

Aside from reaching an agreement, the rapper and the GTA will work together on a number

of projects to promote Ghana.

“Ayat appreciates all support from the good people of Ghana throughout this process,”

according to a section of the statement.
