El Manuel Announces Second Single Dubbed “Oka Me Ho”

The Contemporary gospel scenes in Ghana have over the few years experienced the springing forth of some vibrant young artists.

These firebrand artists are taking the contemporary gospel music in Ghana to a whole new level. They combine musicality with intense spirituality drawing in a whole new fan base that hitherto had nothing to do with gospel music.

Paramount amongst these vibrant artists is the man Emanuel Arkoh, popularly known as El Manuel.

El Manuel made an entrance into the music scene a few years ago thrilling gospel music enthusiasts with his style, vocal prowess, and his prolific songwriting ability.

Having churned out great gospel tunes like ‘Yesu Din’, ‘Falling Down’, and ‘Oguama Mogya”, El Manuel is fast becoming the household name for gospel music in Ghana.

It was therefore not surprising when the multiple-award-winning artiste announced the release of his new single “Oka Me Ho” which will be out on Friday, September 19.

Speaking on the inspiration for his new release “Oka Me Ho”, El Manuel reveals, “This is not an ordinary song, its a testimony to what i have witness. I nearly died after I went for a December program and just after the show, I was admitted at the hospital thinking I was going to die but surprisingly I saw Angels helping my soul to come back”.

‘One day on my way to church I was save by an accident that could have taken my life but God saved me. these and many testimonies compelled me to write Oka Me Ho as the Bible says in Psalms 118 vrs 6’. He said.

The song titled “Oka Me Ho” which translates into English as “He’s With Me”, is another inspirational tune from the award-winning gospel musician.

‘Oka Me Ho’ will be the second song EL Manuel will release this year following the success of God Of Multiplication which was released early this year.

Dj Azonto Warns Nigerian President Tinubu

Multiple award winning hitmaker DJ Azonto has sent a strong warning to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, expressing displeasure over how Nigerian artistes have started using his popular street term “Attassa.”

According to the Fa No Fom hitmaker, artistes including Davido, Chief Cubana, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Burna Boy, Asake, Portable, VeryDarkMan, and even Genevieve Nnaji have used his terms without his consent.

DJ Azonto urged President Tinubu to instruct Nigeria’s Creative Arts Minister to make sure all Nigerian musicians and entertainers stay away from “Attassa.” A term coined from his name “Arthur” and frequently used to “Ta” from nursery making him known in school as “Attassa”.

“Nigeria and Ghana are one, I don’t see why they can’t call me as a brother before using my term. President Tinubu must warn the Creative Arts Minister to make sure no artiste uses “Attassa” again before I take legal actions”, he stated.

Despite his frustration, DJ Azonto expressed deep admiration for Tinubu’s leadership, saying his respect for the President is why he has not taken harsher actions. He further suggested that Tinubu could compensate him by renaming “Banana Island to Attassa Island” or renaming Lagos airport after him.

DJ Azonto has warned Sarkodie and others already over the term “Attassa” and says any Nigerian who uses it without his permission will pay $100 million.

My Lawyer Advised Me To Report Davido And Chief Cubana To Nigeria Authorities – Dj Azonto

The CEO of DJ Azonto Microfinance, DJ Azonto, has publicly announced his plans to formally report Nigerian superstar Davido and his best friend Chief Cubana to the Nigerian authorities for allegedly misusing his street term, “Attassa.”

In a recent interview with the “Attassa” hitmaker, DJ Azonto expressed disappointment that Davido, who is currently on vacation in Ghana has fully associated himself with his trending term “Attassa” without consulting him, the originator.

“Davido is in Ghana with the 30 Billion Gang and they know the current trending term is “Attassa”, so him and his best friend Chief Cubana are using it for hype without my knowledge. This is unacceptable but my legal team advised I report them to the Nigerian authorities, so that is exactly what I will be doing – DJ Azonto stated.

According to him, making a formal complaint in Nigeria will help fast track his case and ensure that both Davido and Chief Cubana face the consequences of what he describes as the “unlawful” use of his slogan.

DJ Azonto added that there is also only one person capable of calming the situation, and that is Governor Adeleke, Davido’s father.

“Mr. Adeleke is the only one who can calm me down to stop all legal actions with one private jet and a $100 million compensation. He’s also the only man Davido and Cubana will listen to. Aside him, they will never listen to anyone,” he added.

DJ Azonto has repeatedly insisted that “Attassa” belongs exclusively to him, just as his earlier street creations such as “Fa No Fom”, “Ala Woyo”, “Azonto A Confirmie” and “Make Dem Tell You”.

I already warned Sarkodie and others not to use it and for Naira Marley to use it without my consent to promote his new ‘Dangerous’ song, it is illegal and unlawful, he said.

“Fa No Fom”, “Alla Woyo”, “Azonto A Confirmie” “Attassa” are part of my brand. DJ Azonto added.
