Emmys 2023: Complete List Of Nominees

The nominations for the 2023 Emmy Awards have been revealed, with Succession, The Last of Us, The White LotusandTed Lasso among those landing the most nominations.
Actors earning nominations included Pedro Pascal for The Last of Us, Jeremy Strong for Succession, Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary and Jenny Ortega for Wednesday.
The 75th annual Emmys are currently set to air live from the Peacock Theater (formerly the Microsoft Theater) on Monday, Sept. 18, from 5-8 p.m. PT/ 8-11 p.m. ET on Fox, with the Creative Arts ceremonies set for Sept. 9-10. A host for the Fox ceremony has not yet been revealed, but Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay are set to produce the telecast.

Creative Republic, the organizers of the Ghana Comedy Awards (GCA), have officially unveiled the list of nominees for the second edition of the awards scheme.
The announcement took place earlier today at the studios of Metro TV, where nominations across all categories were revealed.
A 10-day window for errors, omissions, and corrections will open on Monday to address any concerns or valid issues raised regarding the nominations.
The main awards ceremony is set to be held on May 24th at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.

Initially scheduled for May 3, 2025, at the Grand Arena, Accra, the main awards event will now be held on May 10, 2025, at the same venue.
The change affects the calendar of activities leading to the main awards ceremony, including the Master Class, which has now been rescheduled to Thursday, 8th May 2025, and the Pre-Party to Friday, 9th May 2025.
The organizers have not explained the cause for the change but have since apologized for “any inconvenience” the date change may cause.
The 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards will recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in the Ghanaian music industry, featuring high-fashion statements on the red carpet, live performances from the industry’s most talented artistes, and awards presentations to the most deserving artistes.
The event will take place at the Grand Arena, International Conference Centre.
In the meantime, voting lines for the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards are now open for fans to vote for their favourite artistes by dialling *1767# and submitting the artiste’s code, then following the prompts.

Borborbor: Israel Maweta On A Love Streak, Drops Classic Folk Song “Lorlor Nye”

“Lorlor Nye”, is one of the singles off Israel Maweta’s upcoming Album wrapping up from the studio. This makes it the second song Israel Maweta has released within a space of one month; both traditional folk love song.
With an upgraded sound and production dynamics, courtesy His Manager, Elorm Beenie, Borborbor has seen a facelift with a refined sound and fusion sounds of jazz, highlife and a steeze of Kpanlogo in there.
Dela Botri – Ghanaian International Flutist was recruited on the production works along with Bless Saxx and BoneKeyz.
“Lorlor Nye”, an Ewe parlance which translates as “My Love” or “My Sweetheart”. The song is a carefully garnished folk/traditional classic; has a fine blend of contemporary sounds to create balance for global signature.
This makes it exactly a month apart after he previously dropped a first single “Paulina” off the upcoming album.
