Wizkid Breaks His Silence On Accra Concert No-Show
Celebrated Nigerian music star Wizkid has broken his silence over a no-show at an event he was billed to headline at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana.
In a statement, the musician revealed his decision not to show up for the event was premised on a number of reasonable conditions.
He also promised a concert for his fans.
He wrote;
“Ghana is a country I hold so dear to my heart, first and foremost I wanna apologise to all my fans! Y’all know I would never do anything, without serious reasoning behind it.
My brand is something I don’t joke with! I sincerely apologise, to everyone who made the effort to come out for me last night. I was charged up, looking forward to doing this show. However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honouring my fans, and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right thing to do and I had to.
Unfortunately, up until the day of this show, there continued to be safety and production issues that prevented me from putting on the high-quality show that my fans deserved. My Team and Myself are working on delivering a show to my amazing fans in Ghana. It will be just us, me and you.
Date and details soon. Love you”

I Quit Schooling Because Of Music – Mary Owusu
Renowned Ghanaian gospel artiste, Mary Owusu, has made a startling revelation about her past. In a recent interview on Oman FM’s “M’adwuma” show, hosted by Burundy, Mary disclosed that she had to abandon her education to pursue a career in music.
According to Mary, her passion for music grew to the point where it became impossible for her to balance her academic responsibilities with her musical ambitions. Despite being an exceptional student, Mary found herself dedicating increasingly more time to music, ultimately leading to her decision to quit schooling.
Mary’s story, however, comes with a valuable lesson. When asked to offer advice to young women who may be tempted to compromise their values in pursuit of success, Mary urged them to remain focused on their goals and to prioritize their faith.
“Let God lead you,” Mary counseled. “Work hard, earn your daily bread, and trust that God will guide you to your destination without requiring you to sacrifice your values.”
Mary’s words of wisdom come as she promotes her latest single, “Divine Selection,” a testament to her enduring commitment to her faith and her music.
